This TREX agent doesn't mess around...
It's a year before At Any Cost. TREX Agent Steve Gessler is in Tahiti to take out a terrorist before the madman can strike. Steve never expected there to be a second hitter--or for that hitter to be a sexy-as-sin woman who captures his heart.
This is a special TREX Brief, a glimpse into the life of a fallen TREX agent.
"If you are looking for nonstop, heart-racing action and sizzling romance, look no further. Allie K. Adams will take you there—and more!" —Lucy Monroe, USA Today bestselling author
No Way Out TREX Book 4 edition by Allie K Adams Romance eBooks
NO WAY OUT (TREX) by Allie K. Adams runs 37 pages (minus front- and end-matter). This captivating TREX Brief tells a compelling story of terrorism, a very evil villain, and the team of heroes who *will* bring him down. This is my first read by Ms. Adams and my first exposure to the TREX series...and I believe this short can stand alone. It also piqued my interest in reading the rest of the series. The story telling is strong, a page-turner, and illustrates the strength of the main characters. I loved the inclusion of minor characters (the children and wife) who were not quite what they seemed. The attraction between Steve and Jo was believable and their motivations clear.
Unfortunately, the book needed one more read by a capable editor. I stumbled across three significant typos/errors that pulled me out of the story and made me remember I wasn't in Tahiti with time running out and a with hero walking into serious danger. Specifics: admiral vs. admirable, Stever (come on! his name is Steve), think vs. thing. Little things that could've easily been caught prior to publishing. I admit having a brain wired to see misuses of language is *my* handicap....and despite these small errors, the book was an incredibly enjoyable read.
Sensuality Level: Spicy
Language: Rated R (just what one would expect from a military-based contemporary....*all* language included)
Recommended to fans of military romance, fans of action/thrillers, and those who love a powerful and quick read.

No Way Out TREX Book 4 edition by Allie K Adams Romance eBooks Reviews
A fast-moving, action-packed romance which I found interesting from the beginning to the end. It was just about a chapter's worth of story, but told well. I do dislike the tendency to take what could be side stories in full books and create a saleable "book" from them. But this is a well told chapter. I recommend it, though it is expensive for the reading time.
This small novella explains a part of the life of Steve Gessler, a fallen TREX agent. I loved the idea of providing a small glimpse into the life of a character that didn't get his own book. Through the course of a few days, the action is commanding and the romance is sparkling. It is a great read but a bit heart breaking.
No Way Out by Allie K. Adams is a short but action packed read. No Way Out is well written with fantastic characters, suspense and humor. Jo and Steve's story is a short thrill ride that includes a few sparks but no actual sizzle, so it's a pretty clean read. This is a great choice for those with limited time for reading. I enjoyed No Way Out and look forward to reading more from Allie K. Adams in the future. No Way Out is book 4 in the TREX Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
Yet another winner in the TREX series. Though this story is a short one, we get a good look at TREX Agent Steve Gessler. I really enjoyed this one as it gave a wonderful look back at the fallen agent. We get a glimpse at what a real hero this man was. Undercover as a lifeguard at resort, Gessler meets a lovely British woman Joanne, while tracking terrorist Amoor Ashad. The chemistry between Steve and Jo was amazing and though they only kissed, one can imagine how hot they would be together burning up the sheets.
Allie K. Adams has done a fantastic job with this series. I'm always on the edge of my seat while reading to see what danger lurks for the sexy hunky men of TREX and the beautiful women that set their hearts on fire.
Allied Adams has done it again. Hollywood and Broadway's images came to life on the pages, created with her artistic flair for words. My minds eye pictures, chiseled features, bulging muscles, strong arms, mesmerizing eyes and kissable lips. She creates every girl's version of male perfection. These men out Superman, Bat man and other super heroes to shame. They don't have anything on these guys. As always the good guys prevailed, saving the damsel in distress, walking off into the sunset until the next adventure begins in book 5. I can't get enough of these alpha makes heroes who save the world and their lady loves.
This is a short story, too short to have several typos of the wrong words.
It is an okay story, kinda predictable and a love story between 2 people who just met but by the end after knowing
each other for just One day, decide to spend their lives together and raise 4 kids together.
It just seem way too fast for me and I sure did not feel the love between them. They were only around each other 2 times.
There wasn't near enough build up for a love connection.
Allot of tough talk about this TREX team but we don't see them show how tough they are, not really.
For free it isn't a bad read, but I won't be recommending it to anyone.
There is very bad language in it, So be warned of that. Very little sex talk but there is some, No one has sex in this!
Steve is a special ops guy sent to Tahiti to take out terrorist Amoor Ashad. Joann, a civilian, has a personal vendetta against Ashad, who murdered her family, and is posing as a temporary au pair for the Ashad children so that she can kill him. When Steve and Joann meet, they work together to end Ashad's reign of terror.
The story is just okay, a typical special ops story, nothing special but not bad either. There is NO sizzling romance, however, as claimed in the quote under the description. At the very end of the story, Steve and Joann kiss for the first time and agree that, once the mission has fully wrapped up, they'll have mind-blowing sex and live happily ever after. It's as if this last part was added as an afterthought so that the book could fit into the romance genre.
